Crazy Kid

It was a wonderful day last Sunday so we decided to enjoy the sun out back on the grass. I didn't want Kiyah's clothes to get dirty so I let her roam around in her diaper. Well she enjoyed running around with the dogs but she didn't like the feel of the grass on her knees. So she kept doing the crab walk every where till she would sit down. Then she would get up and crawl like a crab again to where she wanted to go.

To the ZOO

We went to the Zoo with friends Ian and Lauren and their three kids. While we were waiting for them Kiyah "walked" around near the snow leopard area at the back entrance. The day was great, it started off cool but turned out rather warm and we all got a little sun on the face to prove that it did turn out to be a wonderful day.

Oooo!!!! Penguins

Kiyah absolutley loves penguins. She starts dancing and laughing whenever she sees one. She can actually spot one out on a sign at Wal Mart. So we went and saw the penguins at the zoo and she kept trying to lean over the rail and touch them. It was so funny to watch her get all excited over a real penguin instead of a stuffed animal.

Bigger is Not Always Better

For those of you who remember Kiyah's other gorilla picture, she was all smiles. Not so much for this one. As soon as we set her down she started crying. Then Ryan tried putting her on the gorillas back to have the effect that she was hanging on by herself, that did not go over well at all. She started screaming and pushing away from the statue with all her might. We couldn't figure out why she did not like the statue, and it made quite a scene for every other parent walking by. To watch this porr helpless little girl being forced to touch this gorilla statue so that mom and dad could get a picture. Very weird child.

The Cats

It took us forever to get a picture on the cats. There were so many kids coming and going who's parents also wanted pictures. Luckily we were waiting for Ian and Lauren so we had time to let other people go infront of us.

Happy Birthday Kiyah

Snow Day

There was a big snow that came in just before Kiyah's birthday. So we got all bundled up and went out in the snow for probably the last time for the year.

First Times are the Best

Kiyah's first time in the snow. She loved it, but got upset when she tried to crawl and fell into the snow further.

Swimming Lessons

Kiyah loves the bath now that she has figured out that the water out of the facuet is the same as the water that comes out of the shower head

I like my Binki

Never go any where with out it, no matter what

This is the good stuff

Don't everyone get upset now. This was an empty can and she was licking the outside. We just thought that it was cute with her holding it and licking all by herself.

Big Cottonwood Canyon

Every year Ryan's family goes up Big Cottonwood Canyon for breakfast. Kiyah loved being with the cousins and watching them run up and down the mountain side. She is getting all ready to go somewhere fast, but has no way to get there. Next year she'll be running with the best of them.

So Happy

Kiyah's favorite cousin Sydnee. Oopps! I meant Sydnee's favorite cousin Kiyah. Sydnee was the only girl until now. She has two brothers and about 6 boy cousins. Anytime she can Sydnee will play with Kiyah and try and hold her. Too bad she is not old enough to babysit, then we would be set. :-)

Mean Daddy

Such a mean father. There she sits crying her head off and
all he can do is laugh. There was actually something funny on the TV
and Ryan was laughing at it and Kiyah had just started to cry.
Although she is quite the happy child.
